How is this different from a notes app, a reminder app, or my calendar?
Those store what you've already sorted out. UTTER IN does the sorting: you say a raw thought and it becomes a structured reminder, plan, or event — with anything missing flagged — that you approve. It's an assistant, not another box to file things in.
Does the AI ever do things on its own, without asking me?
No. The AI only proposes. Deterministic code checks the details, and nothing is saved, scheduled, or sent until you approve it on the Review Card. That rule is built into the architecture — not a setting you can lose.
What happens when it misunderstands me, or I leave out a detail?
It shows exactly what it understood and marks anything missing in amber — then asks, rather than guessing. You edit a field or add the missing time before approving. It never invents details to fill a gap.
Can I just talk to it, or type the way I actually think?
Yes. Type it, speak it, or drop a link — in plain language, with no categories or forms. "Dinner with Ahmed next Thursday" is enough; it works out the structure and hands it back for your yes.
